How To Use Emla Cream:

• Before needles or blood tests on healthy, unbroken skin.
• Prior to minor skin procedures or surgeries.
• Before specific vaccinations, including MMR, DPTP, Haemophilus influenzae b, and Hepatitis B.
• For short surgical procedures on the genitals.
• For the cleansing of leg ulcers.

How Does Emla Cream Works:

• Apply 1 hour before the procedure for best results.
• Numbing starts in 1 hour, peaks at 2-3 hours, and lasts for 1-2 hours after removal.
• Safe for children over 3 months, with numbing reaching peak effect in 1 hour.
