BIOSYN™ synthetic absorbable sutures are made from Glycomer 631, a unique synthetic polyester blend of glycolide (60%), dioxanone (14%), and trimethylene carbonate (26%). Designed for reliable tensile strength and predictable absorption, these monofilament sutures provide excellent handling and knot security. Ideal for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including ophthalmic procedures, but not recommended for cardiovascular or neurological use.
