Mepitel® is a gentle and effective wound contact layer that utilizes Safetac® Technology. Its open mesh structure facilitates the drainage of exudates into a secondary dressing, allowing for simple topical treatment. The release film protects the Safetac® layer, which is non-adherent to the moist wound bed and gently adheres to surrounding intact skin, minimizing trauma and pain during dressing changes.

Non-absorbent, transparent, and conforming to body contours, Mepitel® promotes undisturbed wound healing while sealing around the wound margins to reduce the risk of maceration. It is indicated for skin tears, second-degree burns, radiation skin reactions, blistering, epidermolysis bullosa, digit injuries, skin grafts, and lacerations. Mepitel® is sterile and designed for optimal healing.
