As applied to skin, Derma+Flex® is syrup-like in viscosity and polymerizes quickly—usually in less than 60 seconds. It is a sterile, topical adhesive blending 60% 2-octyl cyanoacrylate and 40% n-butyl cyanoacrylate into a formulation providing the most desirable properties of each. The increased viscosity of Derma+Flex® is formulated to reduce the risk of unintended placement of the adhesive during application due to migration of the liquid adhesive from the wound site. The Derma+Flex® new dual purpose applicator is designed for ease of application. Orient the tip down for broad, flat strokes. Tilt the tip up for thin, precise application.
